The New Patient Experience is your very first appointment with Casey Dentists.
You will be welcomed to our practice by our Treatment Co-ordinator - Miss Rebecca Radford. Upon arrival make yourself comfortable in our guest lounge; with a bottle of Casey Dentists chilled water or a freshly brewed coffee, before Rebecca takes you on a guided tour of our practice. After sitting and relaxing in our consultation room your dentist will sit with you to discuss your dental concerns and then escort you to the surgery for your full mouth examination.
In surgery, we will take a detailed medical and dental history. Your examination will initially focus on your primary concern and then develop into a full examination of your teeth, gums, jaw bone and TMJ. We will conduct a specialised oral cancer exam and record the colour of your teeth. Your records will include digital photographs, digital radiographs and plaster models of your teeth.
Central to your New Patient Experience is gathering all the information we can, so too formalise a written, comprehensive treatment plan that addresses all your concerns.
Rebecca will present to you a detailed analysis of what your dentist has found, recommending certain dental treatments that will benefit you and restore your dental health. We will explain and educate you on the important aspects of your treatment in a professional and confidential manner. Options will be provided so that you can make an informed decision on what you would like to do.
We will discuss your financial commitment, our preferred method of payment and if necessary we can help with your health fund rebates.
